We pack our art with extra care to prevent against damages, and all packages are labeled with special handling instructions.

Why is the amount I’m charged for shipping higher than the postage paid on my package?

Our shipping cost includes both shipping and art handling. This includes the cost of packing materials and the time we spent processing the print order, packing and shipping each print.

You can contact us at any time and we will do our best to refer you to a professional framer in your area.

A limited edition is produced in a set limited quantity. Each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition photographs are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. Once a photograph is sold out, it will not be released again in that particular size.

An open edition print is a high quality print. Open edition prints are not signed by the artist nor are they individually numbered. Open edition prints do not come with a certificate of authenticity.

A Certificate of Authenticity is a sheet with The Fran Lamothe logo that’s signed by the Artist. A certificate of authenticity accompanies each print and includes the artist name, artwork title, size, edition number and paper type.

Fran Lamothe retains all copyright to the artwork i.e. the rights to produce, reproduce, present at a public exhibition, communicate the work to the public by telecommunication, and adapt the artwork.
