An extra one inch border will go around the printed area. This means the actual sheet size of the paper will be a total of 2 inches larger than the ordered width and height of the print. This photograph is unframed. 

Will be carefully packed and photography will ship rolled in a tube and shipped to you.

Original Artworks

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us through our contact page If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Please inspect your order within 3 working days of receiving the damaged artwork so that we can make the appropriate arrangements to have the damaged items refunded or replaced.

All prices stated on our website are exclusive of sales tax. Sales tax of GST 5% plus QST 9.75% will be added if artworks are sold and shipped within Province of Quebec.

We pack our art with extra care to prevent against damages, and all packages are labeled with special handling instructions.
Why is the amount I’m charged for shipping higher than the postage paid on my package? Our shipping cost includes both shipping and art handling. This includes the cost of packing materials and the time we spent processing the print order, packing and shipping each print.

You can contact us at any time and we will do our best to refer you to a professional framer in your area.

A limited edition is produced in a set limited quantity. Each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition photographs are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. Once a photograph is sold out, it will not be released again in that particular size.

An open edition print is a high quality print. Open edition prints are not signed by the artist nor are they individually numbered. Open edition prints do not come with a certificate of authenticity.

A Certificate of Authenticity is a sheet with The Fran Lamothe logo that’s signed by the Artist. A c authenticity accompanies each print and includes the artist name, artwork title, size, edition number and paper type.

Fran Lamothe retains all copyright to the artwork i.e. the rights to produce, reproduce, present at a public exhibition, communicate the work to the public by telecommunication, and adapt the artwork.

Though we cannot guarantee specific shipment dates until an order has been placed, unframed works typically ship within 7 - 1 business days and framed works take a bit longer, usually shipping within 10 - 15 business days. Works that ship from US and international artist studios make take longer to be shipped. Shipping times may increase for international orders depending on local requirements. For orders that require special shipping, please contact us to make the proper arrangements. As soon your piece has shipped out, you will receive a tracking number and you can always reach out to us with any questions by emailing info@thetappancollective.com. We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. Once marked as "delivered" by carrier tracking, we are not responsible for the package. Please ensure the correct address is entered at time of order.

Please note that once your order arrives in the country of destination, local guidelines apply and your order may be subject to import taxes and local duties. These taxes and duties are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer. An original work is a completely unique piece of artwork. Mediums typically include: oil, acrylic, watercolor, etching, or pencil.

A limited edition is a fixed number of identical prints. The artist sets the edition size. Unfortunately, when an edition is sold out, it is no longer available. A limited edition print has more value than an open edition or open run print because the availability and scarcity of each work is controlled.
