An extra one inch border will go around the printed area. This means the actual sheet size of the paper will be a total of 2 inches larger than the ordered width and height of the print. This photograph is unframed.
Will be carefully packed and photography will ship rolled in a tube and shipped to you.

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us through our contact page If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Please inspect your order within 3 working days of receiving the damaged artwork so that we can make the appropriate arrangements to have the damaged items refunded or replaced.

All prices stated on our website are exclusive of sales tax. Sales tax of GST 5% plus QST 9.75% will be added if artworks are sold and shipped within Province of Quebec.
We pack our art with extra care to prevent against damages, and all packages are labeled with special handling instructions.
Why is the amount I’m charged for shipping higher than the postage paid on my package? Our shipping cost includes both shipping and art handling. This includes the cost of packing materials and the time we spent processing the print order, packing and shipping each print.

A limited edition is produced in a set limited quantity. Each piece in the edition is identical and is considered an original. Limited edition photographs are generally more valuable because of the limited number available. Once a photograph is sold out, it will not be released again in that particular size.
An open edition print is a high quality print. Open edition prints are not signed by the artist nor are they individually numbered. Open edition prints do not come with a certificate of authenticity.
A Certificate of Authenticity is a sheet with The Fran Lamothe logo that’s signed by the Artist. A c authenticity accompanies each print and includes the artist name, artwork title, size, edition number and paper type.

Fran Lamothe retains all copyright to the artwork i.e. the rights to produce, reproduce, present at a public exhibition, communicate the work to the public by telecommunication, and adapt the artwork.

Though we cannot guarantee specific shipment dates until an order has been placed, unframed works typically ship within 7 - 1 business days and framed works take a bit longer, usually shipping within 10 - 15 business days. Works that ship from US and international artist studios make take longer to be shipped. Shipping times may increase for international orders depending on local requirements. For orders that require special shipping, please contact us to make the proper arrangements. As soon your piece has shipped out, you will receive a tracking number and you can always reach out to us with any questions by emailing info@thetappancollective.com. Shipping art carefully and quickly is one of our highest priorities. For this
reason we cannot combine shipping discounts with order level discounts.
We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. Once marked as "delivered" by carrier tracking, we are not responsible for the package. Please ensure the correct address is entered at time of order.
We are happy to ship artwork globally. To allow us to best serve you, please complete the shipping form upon checkout and try to be as detailed as possible, including a phone or mobile contact number is always helpful for international orders. There will be a shipping fee added to your order depending on the size of your piece(s) and where you would like your artwork shipped
Please note that once your order arrives in the country of destination, local guidelines apply and your order may be subject to import taxes and local duties. These taxes and duties are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer. However, if applicable, we will support with any communication of information with customs as necessary
We are unable to ship to PO boxes for liability and insurance reasons. Please provide your full daytime delivery address as well as a contact phone number to ensure smooth delivery.
If your package is lost in transit, please e-mail us right away at info@thetappancollective.com and we will try our best to resolve the issue. If the item has not been marked delivered and hasn't arrived within 30 days, we will replace your order free of charge (US only). For International orders, please contact your local postal service for information on how to file a claim as we are unable to replace lost packages from international orders. Please note that Tappan is not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared 'Delivered' by the delivery service.
We are dedicated to providing our collectors with accurate descriptions and visuals of the artwork featured on our site. We ship each artwork with a Certificate of Authenticity, which is signed by the founder of Tappan, to guarantee you are collecting an authentic work of art. The certificate includes the title, dimension, materials, and all details of the artwork as well as edition series information. As a collector, it will be important to hold onto your certificate as it will help with the future value of the work adding provenance and context around your acquisition of the piece.
We consult with the artist to match every artwork with a suitable frame color, size, and framing method. Our solid wood frames will beautifully compliment and protect your artwork. We offer competitive pricing for framing and aim to make the experience of buying art as easy and comfortable as possible. An original work is a completely unique piece of artwork. Mediums typically include: oil, acrylic, watercolor, etching, or pencil. If there is an original work that you love that is no longer available for sale, please email info@thetappancollective.com and we can discuss a potential commission for a new original work with the artist on your behalf.
A limited edition is a fixed number of identical prints. The artist sets the edition size. Unfortunately, when an edition is sold out, it is no longer available. A limited edition print has more value than an open edition or open run print because the availability and scarcity of each work is controlled.
Tappan Limited Edition is a print that is exclusively available from Tappan in collaboration with the artist. We use premium archival inks on museum quality paper. All of our prints are available for custom framing during the ordering and checkout process
Open edition prints may be endlessly reproduced. An open edition print is often priced lower and valued lower than a limited edition print because there is an unlimited amount of availability
An ancient artistic technique, embossing is the process of creating raised or recessed relief images and designs in paper and other materials. An embossed pattern is raised against the background, while a debossed pattern is sunken into the surface of the material. Tappan artist Cheryl Humphreys works with this technique.
